nominations at American
Music Awards 2022.
Five multi-talented International musicians bagged Nominations at the 2022 American Music Award.
American Music Awards
introduced a new category this year, — Favorite Afrobeats Artist.
The Afrobeats nominees are Burna Boy, Wizkid, CKay, Tems, and Fireboy DML.
They’ll be having a battle for the award that has been scheduled to take place on the 21st of November 2022.
Among the nominees, Grammy award winner, Wizkid, alongside his collaborator Tems, bagged a second nomination within the category of Favorite R&B Song.
Tems extended her record with her collaboration with Future and Drake, ‘Wait For You’, which is featured in the categories of Favorite Hip-Hop Song and Collaboration of the Year.
Tems, with four nominations, is the most nominated Afrobeats act at this year’s American Music Awards (AMA).
