Jbaby with real name Blessing Augustine is from Akwa Ibom state but she base in Nasarawa state. Her family was doing well till when she lost her Dad. From that moment she has experienced the sad part of life. She started working for people at an early age to help her mom send them to school after her mom lost the capital of her business. Little by little, things have started changing from bad to good but she still believe better days are ahead.
She completed her junior secondary school at Ecwa in 2014. And her senior secondary school at G.S.S army barracks Keffi in 2018. She is currently a student of Nasarawa state university, Keffi.
She recorded her first song in May, 2020.
Some of the people who influenced her music are: Tiwa Savage, Simi and Tatiana.
