New Year 2023: “why not apply that same energy on a daily basis?” Man admonishes Nigerians to replicate their crossover night kind of energy in every day life

Barely hours to the new year (2023), a certain Twitter user identified as Samkid Baba has charged Nigerians to replicate the same energy used to pray at crossover night in their daily lives.

Samkid made the charge via a tweet on Saturday, 31st December, 2022 when the whole media space had gone agog over the ‘last-day-of-the-year’ syndrome of excitement.

While many expressed gratitude for being alive and receiving the many gifts they had recieved in the course of year, another exciting factor was the cross over night in view.

Usually, the last day of the year is always a fun filled day as many people begin to write and make known their new year resolutions, asking forgiveness from people they might have wronged and simply just making fun of the whole stuff in many different ways.

The thoughts of spending the Years’ last night in Church and crossing over to a new year in the presence of their God is another remarkable experience for Christians all over the world.

2022 has not been an exception as at the time of filing this report, Bonezworld.ng had learnt from various quarters, the level of excitement many young and old people alike, were nurturing and waiting to unleash at the crossover night, praying and singing praises.

It is often a seemingly different experience from the usual Sunday service (mass) or vigils held in churches. The energy is always different! You have a doubt? Let us know in the comments section. *winks*

Someone once said, “even people who don’t pray, pray on that night.” Probably because everyone has got a conviction that the new year ought to be a better one. It has to! And o! They pray energetically!

Samkid’s Pray This New Year

However, Samkid’s reaction to this eleventh hour muse seems to be taking a twist from the usual thanksgiving many young people express on social media.

He’s comes with a charge for all as he admonishes people to not only be energetic during prayers at the crossover feast.

Samkid wants Nigerians to replicate the same amount of energy used to pray in our daily lives inorder to yield more productivity.

He wrote: “The energy you’ll use to pray on the 31st of December the crossover night, why not applying that same energy on a daily basis.”

Reacting, @Nonye767 wrote: “Bible says “work and pray”, not just to pray, you gats work.”

Another Twitter user, @reelmacin reacted saying: “Might sound like a joke but this guy knows Faith”

It is one thing to be busy and it is another to be productive. Thanks for reading and Happy New Year!
