Jkobi Biography.
Jkobi was born in Makurdi on the 27th of May. He grew up in Wadata, attended our Lady of perpetual Help Nur/Pri School, Mount saint Michael Aliade and Benue state University respectively. He is a Bsc holder in Mass communication.
Jkobi started miming at parties as a kid, dancing like Michael Jackson then he started miming in secondary School and soon after college he started recording music. His stage name was slavechizzy and he did collaborations with Krispins, Beatsleenga, Baruje,Terry tha rapman, Maleeq souls, illkid now kvng nyama, George nize, Cupa stonce, Snaps, Mos bee now Yung Mela, Jt warrior, Kidda M, JQ, Danni vembs etc. Jkobi has been in Abuja music industry as well as Lagos as one of his songs Zaaki gave him recognition from Zaaki Azzay who is a legend in the Nigerian Music industry. Jkobi is now managed by a prestigious entertainment company owned by Zaaki Azzay in Lagos called Lights on entertainment.
Jkobi grew up listening to underground arts like wutang clan, Big L, KRS1, Rahim, Sticky Fingers, Los etc and later 2pac, Biggie, Jay Z, Diddy, Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Busta Rhymes, The Game, 50Cent and in Nigeria, Zaaki Azzay, Six foot plus, Terry Tha Rapman, MI, Ice Prince, Over Dose, Pherowshuz etc.
