Star Sali who is a very talented fast rising artist is set to break a record with “I am Star Sali” Ep release.

Star Sali brings together her different interests in Soul, R&B and Afropop to create an innovative and captivating musical approach. She is a singer, songwriter and tradition bearer who performs with “the finesse of a musically developed goddess”.

Esther Salihu alias Star Sali, a Benue native has taken a unique approach to music. What began as a physical and emotional search for the origins of her identity has evolved into a physical and emotional investigation of history and life events, leading to bold new heights of imagination and creative expression. She rose to notoriety during her university years, winning the BUEPA Award for fastest emerging artist of the year 2021 and she has since shaped her music into a collection of songs establishing the brand, releasing her debut EP I am Star Sali on May 15th, 2022 under the music company NFOB GLOBAL RECORDS.

She finds inspiration in everything and everyone around her who is striving to make a difference in their own fields.

She grew up in Jos, Plateau State’s frigid city on the plateau and she is currently a Sociology graduate of Benue State University in Makurdi.

She began singing at the age of thirteen in her family church choir and continued through her undergraduate years, where she spent time soaking in music that has helped her become a force to be reckoned with today.

This EP alternates between hard-hitting songs about the battle to survive and succeed in the face of adversity, heart wrenching vocals spewing forth love songs about relationships and love and beautifying the black woman. Star Sali has mastered her craft and she is ready to show case her God given talent for the world.
