Student Wallet was a very popular financial platform in Benue state with offices and officials that gave out outrageous profits to investors. The offer was too good to be true. They signed ambassadors, had a very good publicity team and their online promotions was very convincing. Students used their school fees, feeding money, money for rent, transport money to invest into student Wallet. When the platform finally crashed, so much was lost. A lot of people went into depression and a lot of students had to either drop out of school or Deferred their admissions. Some could not renew their rents. The C. E. O of Student Wallet Mr Johnson Agene went into hiding after the system started having problems. A lot of people posted online about the platform returning their monies back but nothing was done. Mr Johnson Agene was arrested in Lagos state and he is currently in the custody of the EFCC. He was arraigned at the Federal high Court at NorthBank on Friday 3rd of December. The case was adjourned to 7th of December.
