Cedrick Torkuma Iwer from Benue state has been battling with jaw cancer(Osteosarcoma) for two years and he needs urgent medical attention.

Cedrick has undergone three surgeries, his whole jaw was removed from the last one.

Cedrick has also undergone Radio and chemotherapy but the tumor still came back in between his eyes and neck, he has been referred to India for a surgery to remove the remaining tumors and reconstruct his jaw. He needs 16million naira (3million rupees) to undergo the operation.

Cedrick Wrote to Gov. Ortom, Suswam, Bob Tyough, pleads for 3million naira support. He shared this on Facebook.

Now this is a cry to the Executive governor of Benue state: H.E Dr SAMUEL ORTOM, senator rep me Sen. GABRIEL SUSWAM, my rep Hon BOB TYOUGH.

It’s been four months since I was referred to India for treatment and I started crowd funding because the bill was too much for me to handle, Benue people have shown me genuine love same as people outside the state, Adenike a lady from Lagos supported me with 2million naira, same as Abiola with 500k, out of the 16million needed for my surgery people have donated 13million naira and I now need 3million naira only.

We have written both to the Office of the Governor and that of the First Lady two months back, I received a WhatsApp voice call from the First Lady two days back which brought so much joy to my face, according to her they initially misplaced my letter but she directed for a search and it was found, she also assured me she was going to follow up and has already directed Dan Azembe on what to do which I’m grateful.

I have also tried seeing my Senator sen. SUSWAM countless times to no avail.

Please don’t allow cancer to consume me, I have lost sight from the right eye already and the situation gets worse everyday, we didn’t come to seek for a 16million naira help, we did our best and arrived here and now we are here before you begging for 3million to complete this so this tumor won’t touch my brain.
