My name is Usu Terngu Collins (born 3rd September 1998).

My stage name is Young.T. I am a Nigerian hip hop recording artist and a song writer. I base in makurdi.I currently Study Mathematics and Computer Science at BENUE STATE UNIVERSITY, MAKURDI.
I record mostly in English and TIV, my native tongue.
In 2018, I released my debut studio album titled ‘SORTILE‘ while signed to YOUNG STAR RECORDS. But i am currently signed into LATIMS CONCEPT.
And my hit songs include ‘PRAY ‘SORTILE’ ‘BENDOWN SELECT’ ‘MVAVE’ HAPPY HOME ‘.
I have also recorded with studios like “BEAT KILLA STUDIO (MOZANGER)” “IMMACULATE RECORDS” “JOHNIX STUDIO” “MR TIMS RECORDING STUDIO” “REALTHACE RECORDING STUDIO”.
I have recorded songs with artists including ‘MOZANGER, ESA, MR TIMS, GBROWN, BENNY.B and performed in many places like, Abuja, ‘MAKURDI’ ‘K.ALA’ ‘GBOKO’ V.K CITY and so on.

EARLY LIFE: I loved music from day-one, my father actually introduced me into music because he was a reggae fan and according to him, they have been hosting “disco” in the 80’s.
So I learnt from him, listening to music by LUCKY DUBE, BOB MARLEY, ERIC DONALDSON, UB40, JIMMY CLIFF and many more.
So I started learning music in reggae form till I came to enjoy 2FACE, BLACKFACE, FAZE and many motivations from around the world.
And back then in secondary school, my classmates asked me to leave the SCIENCES and go to ARTS because my talent was prevailing but i refused because I never believed in my talent.
But here I am today, loving what I do when it comes to music.

MUSICAL CARRIER: My music started as a joke, when I first proposed the idea of venturing into music, many people adviced me to go and look for something better to do with my life but I did not let such pull my dreams down.
My family highly supports my music and they single handedly sponsored my first album.
Now, I am no longer calling music, but music is now the one calling me.
MUSICAL INFLUENCE: I grew up in the reggae word so I loved reggae to the edge, but rap influences me more.
That is why i picked my two role models to be OLAMIDE and PATORANKING.
But my music was really influenced by LUCKY DUBE, BOB MARLEY, ERIC DONALDSON, PETER TOUCH, UB40.
But still, I want to be like my very own brother when i grow up(E.M.S) Emperor Swags.
