Dmw boss, Davido and Yonda who used to be one of the closest at the label but lost that spark have decided to settle their long time rift.

Adeniran Adetunji professionally known as Yonda was one of the promising artist and song writers in Nigeria as at 2017. He was signed to Davido music world wide. He was born and bred in Lagos State. He and his family lived in the mainland part of the city during his formative years. As a teenager, Yonda became very keen on the idea of pursuing a professional music career. This was because he had discovered his talent as a musician. He started to compose music lyrics as a secondary school student. Some of these songs were recorded as demos in a studio close to his parent’s house. Yonda who had been recording songs and performing at local shows in Lagos, hit the spotlight when he came in contact with the music star Davido. Davido signed him to his record label, DMW. In January 2017, he released his official debut single, Las Vegas. The song was quite successful as it won him many fans. Due to the success of the song, he decided to do a remix months later. He featured Afrobeats star, Burna Boy on the remix. Yonda‘s name was stamped in the music industry after he released the hit single, Bad Girl Riri. He featured his former label mate Mayorkun on the song.

In the past few years, Yonda lost the Davido effect in his Music career. He has been sinking and after realizing his mistakes, he reached out to Davido with a very lengthy post. He pleaded that Davido should take him back like the prodigal son. He wished he could make Davido forget the ungrateful and irrational him. Davido replied him that he missed him and that Yonda really hurt him even after trying his best to change his story.
