Vambeh Tersoo Stephen professionally known as Slim Birdie was born on the 20th of May in a family of four at Mkar Hospital, Gboko. As a third born, he grew up with his mum and dad at Mkar, Gboko. He started enjoying the art of music at a young age of about 9-11years when artists like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Westlife, Sean Paul and R.Kelly were constantly on repeat on speakers in his house. Listening to them made him to vibe to their songs and subsequently he began to grow interest in the art of music.
