Why are you a Gospel Artist?
This is the question my friends always ask me.
From childhood, I have been brought up under the fear of the lord,
My Dad who is much of a Reverend is doing the lords work.
In my own little way, I am using my music to preach the gospel.
I have not been much of a social type, maybe because I am much of a Melancholy.
Music has its way inside my family.
My Dad is also a musician,
My Mom a Keyboardist 🎹 and my kid sister a singer.
In my privacy, I sing alot but in the public I battle with stage fright.
I started building my stage experience at the age of 8 when I presented a solo song in church, which i was thoroughly taught by my mom.
In senior secondary school (2nd Year), I was nicknamed Joe Brown.
I performed in the school educational clubs hhich was Commercial students Association(COSA),
Dramatic Club and JET Club.
It all started after winning a class rap battle which was organised and the thought of expanding my music
became the next move.
2016 is a moment I can never forget in my life time.
The reactions and the effect my performance had on my viewers and listeners was unbelievable.
Beside my underground performances that was my first time
performing to a large audience and it was super epic at my Secondary School Graduation 🎓
@ Graceland Secondary School Gboko.
At the starting of my music career I came in contact with IG beats
who later produced my first single
“A thousand Feelings”
A song in a story form
As a result of the fight to quit Music.
The success and effect it had on those who downloaded got me wanting to give them more.
I got mails regarding the song.
More followers on instagram and on my facebook page.
My whole career started with this song at the age of 18 then.
Next was DEPRESSED which was released on 1st Dec 2017.
